Heh David Croft just read my name out by mistake. He was reading someone else's Tweet but said it was from me.

I agree with Mcnish;
Force india keep promising something more next year but always fail to deliver. each year they perform better than the year before, but williams and Sauber take a much better step forward.

But at Caterhams budget they just dont have any hope in hell. FI is suffering without Sutil IMO. He was the foundation of the team, to continuing influence year on year who always performed good. Nothing special, but he delivered points.

FP2 Yes caterham have a whole new back end for silverstone. If that doesn't move them up they might as well start work on next years car now.

Look at positions 2-6, I would take that as a grid!

Here's Gary Anderson post about the latest updates on the cars: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/18551261I read that Ferrari are still testing the new parts, if they didn't work here they'll optimize it for Silverstone. Also, Mclaren tried a new exhaust solution on Hamilton's car, Whitmarsh said the team is bringing another copy for Button tomorrow.

I know it's difficult to read practice times, but Grosjean's long run in FP2 looks quick and consistent. He's lapping in the 1.44.8-1.44.9 bracket for 10 or so laps, Kimi's in the 1.45.1 area.
Maldonado a lot quicker than Senna again. Fuel loads unknown sadly!
Button's long runs do not look good at all; Lewis looks like he was focusing on set-up, nothing in there that says 'long run'. Ferrari/Mercedes/Red Bull all look similar, but slower than Grosjean.
Kovalainen long runs look faster than STR & Senna.

Lotus seems very happy with the pace on heavy fuel.
