well for me is Gran Turismo... im currently playing (if i have time) f1c 08 or 09 mod, i know this game is old but with new mods is great... still fun to drive, play f1c since sony made f1 ce 4 ps3... i played that to but the game is really old and i dont know its just so old... im waiting 4 gt5 or f1 2010 ps3... cant wait to race online again

I am played a lot GP and GP2. I have GP Legends and GP4 also, but not played much of them.
Right now I like that TDU is the best. If I would have a more free time to play, maybe rFactor could be nice.

For years I played F1 Challenge 99 - 02. It was a good game, with lots of avalible mods. Since a couple of years, I play Rfactor. For Rfactor, there are even more mods, some of them in great quality. I play the RFT2008 and the CTDP 2005 mod. The only thing is that there are no weather changes. It rains or it's dry. There are no changing conditions. Nevertheless, a great game.

F1 2002 is the best ever racing game.

For console, Gran Turismo is head and shoulders ahead of everyone else. I own every installment of GT released in America (Plus Tourist Trophy) and I still play them all (and still think they're fun). That's my definition of a truly great game. In terms of F1 games, the only decent one we had here untill F1CE was Formula 1 2001 by Studio Liverpool, which I played for years and still boot up in the old PS2 every once in awhile. The AI were terrible though. I actually won the world championship on pro difficulty in a Prost once!
PC: rFactor. Great physics, decent but not overpowering graphics, and loads and loads of car/track mods to keep the game current for years!

My all time favourite game would be Formula 1: Championship Edition on the PS3. I think the first F1 game on the original PlayStation by Psygnosis (the one with the 1995 season) was a groundbreaking game at the time also.

Got good memories too of F1 1997 (PSone), Grand Prix Challenge (PS2), F1 2005 (PS2), F1 Grand Prix (PSP) and F1 2009 (PSP). Currently playing F1 2010 on PS3.

Does anyone remember way back to the late 80's that there was an F1 game on the Spectrum called. "Nigel Mansell' Grand Prix". Class!!!

The best "game" i played was Ayrton senna super monaco GP!

As far as sims go Rfactor, Iracing and GTR 2 are fantastic

For me it is Rfactor, because of the variety of vehicles, plus the online side of things due to the racing league i had been racing with.

As far as single player racing games i have played i would choose GP4. (I love the Geoff Crammond series and have played them since F1GP)

I have heard very good reviews of Forza, but i am a sony rather than xbox man, and have a PS3 so i have played Gran Turismo series since the beginning also.(i enjoy the visuals but dislike the lack of damage)

Others i had enjoyed are the nascar series, indycar 1&2, GP Legends, GTR series, GT Legends etc.

I have to say the best racing game of all time is hands down Danny Sullivan's Indy Heat. It was...I mean IS...amazing to say the least.

No doubt about Gp4, best f1 simulator ever.

Iracing have one of the best community in the gaming world, the physics and tracks are amazing. The only problem is the expensive cars and tracks on top of the membership fee.
