What an incredible race.
I'm extremely pleased for Nico, but very very gutted for Michael. He would have scored his first podium since his comeback, no doubt about it.

Shanghai is probably one of the best circuits in F1. We had very good races there in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. I only can remember one boring race there and that was in 2008.

Tell you something, all those people who bet money on Nico Rosberg winning must be feeling dead chuffed now.
So happy for him, think he deserved it. I think it was gutting for Michael and Kimi though, what with Michael DNFing and Kimi losing all those places so close to the end.

Whoa, hadn't seen that Webber stunt.  When did that happen? How did the car survive that? Anyway! Great race once again (I had very much enjoyed last year's Chinese GP as well). Overdue win for Rosberg, let's hope that one will unlock the counter as turned out to be the case for other "late" winners (Häkkinen, Button, Webber). Now that Mercedes is a force to be reckoned with, it definitely looks like we have a fabulous season ahead of us. Also: some fantastic racing in the latter stages. I loved the somewhat GP2-esque fight between Grosjean and Maldonado, neither could afford a third successive retirement and yet neither gave an inch. Keep it up boys!  _________________  |

Hamilton has found the consistency that he had back in 2007 when he reeled off podium after podium, a 2011 Hamilton would have broken his nose on Massa or Perez today, encouraging to see.

Jolly Norbert "Fat Claus" Haug was so happy that he pointed the Mercedes Benz logos on all the 3 drivers on the podium - all on their right chest side, but can't seem to find the logo on his very own jacket :P

One thing that hasn't been picked up I think was just how good Charles Pic was this weekend. He was only 1.5s behind Glock at the finish, brilliant job |

Until that point he had been around ten seconds behind Glock – he crossed the line less than half a second behind his team mate. |
