Anyone here play F1:CE on the PS3? If you own a PS3 and a decent wheel, this is a must have title.

Here's my rig:

I actually bought my PS3 just because of F1:CE. Both the PS3 and the game are very nice.

I'm sure they will being how they are quite the cash whores. I'm more worried about them screwing it up.

I doubt whether they would screw up. They have a pretty good version of Colin McRae rally, TOCA series and now Grid. I think they are pretty good in racing sims. EA sports failed to transform the performance of their NFS series into the F1 racing series. Though at that time EA's F1 games were sole leaders in the market compared to previous ones.

If they bring it on for PS3, i hope they do it as good as F1:CE ... I love to race in Rain !!

They bought Sonys F1:CE assets. Colin McRae was good. So was TOCA. Grid is arcade garbage though. Also, Polyphony Digital set the bar pretty high with GT5 Prologue as far as console sims go. We can only hope they do this right...

If they bought F1 CE assets, then they can't do a bad job compared to F1 CE .. By any means that would be the standard based on which they would try and develop ! Isn't it ? But AI play might become boring after sometime. They should find some viable way to play it online.

The wheel was around $280.00 US after shipping. The cockpit was just under $500.00 US after shipping. The buttkicker was $90.00 US after shipping. Quite a bargain!!!

You have to stradle it like a kart to get in. So as long as your able bodied, it's quite comfortable.

I have this game and I think its magnificent. I use the logitech dfgt wheel, which works brilliantly with this game. Sadly, I've heard that the new F1 game is going to use the same engine as Grid as opposed to F1CE :(
