You got the point.

I guess that this achievement will stay a long long time with only Kimi (OK if Loeb will drive one F1 race this is not so unique anymore but another driver from F1 to WRC...)Julia wrote:Kulta writes that Kimi made F1 history today:

Reuterman, the guy who has got two podiums in rally never has newer won a stadge, his best was third...

How about "First F1 champ to ever win a specialstage on the highest level in rally!" This would be hard to follow. Maybe, maybe Kubica if he ever wins F1 championship.Moominpappa wrote:I guess that this achievement will stay a long long time with only Kimi (OK if Loeb will drive one F1 race this is not so unique anymore but another driver from F1 to WRC...)Julia wrote:Kulta writes that Kimi made F1 history today:

Unfortunately Loeb is to old for F1, I would have liked to see Loeb get a proper chance. But he did do some GP2 testing and I think he was the slowest.Moominpappa wrote:I guess that this achievement will stay a long long time with only Kimi (OK if Loeb will drive one F1 race this is not so unique anymore but another driver from F1 to WRC...)Julia wrote:Kulta writes that Kimi made F1 history today:

Well Kimi is actually doing something unique. Someone checked Reuterman's times the other day (unfortunately I cant remember where I read that), and eventhough he was 3rd he was still something like 17 minutes off the lead, so Kimi is actually driving much faster them him eventhough the results are not the same, these days drivers and cars much closer together and there isn't so much retirements.valuk wrote:How about "First F1 champ to ever win a specialstage on the highest level in rally!" I remember that too but then rally races was longer than today. Still time gap per kilometer is much better in Kimi than Reuterman and he drove only some tarmac races which he knew well.Boudica wrote: Well Kimi is actually doing something unique. You won't believe it but at first I wanted to comment on this post that it reminded me of the moment from Interlagos 2006.sleenster wrote:You know what? I think Neil Cole just had his "I was having a sh*t" moment......saif wrote:Tweet from @neilcole
