Briatiore to step down place at Renault, he's going to do the most important things within the team. Besides that, he also says he already has someone else in mind to take his place

According to Turun Sanomat, Alonso has turned down Honda's offer and will now choose between Renault and BMW. After Alonso's rejection, Honda is after Senna and Heidfeld to replace Barrichello.

TS offers following scenario:
If Alonso goes to BMW, Honda will have to compete against STR for Heidfeld. If Alonso stays in Renault and Heidfeld in BMW, Honda will keep Barrichello or replace him with Senna and raise Bruno to be their top-gun in 2010s.

Also, Finnish newspapers have been rumouring that Sebastian Bourdais is the newest candidate for Renault.

The stories about Alonso sounds very logical. I read the Bourdais/Renault story too, but if Bourdais is a good one for Renault... But Hamilton and Kovalainen are already confirmed for 2009 at Macca a few months ago, isn't it?
And I also really hope that Bruno Senna will find an F1 team for next year. I really hope to see him in an F1 car next year, I don't mind what team he's going to drive, but I believe he can become a great driver, maybe not as good as Ayrton, but I give him a shot

i think STR should choose Senna - look at him against Pantano - he started car racing in 2004 -when giorgio was an f1 driver!!! Senna has so much more potential - hes risen through the rankings so quickly. i saw him racing at thruxton in 2006 british f3 and look- now hes nearly in f1 afetr being a sucess in gp2.

BMW Sauber confirmed on Monday that current line-up, Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld, will continue to race for the team next season. With continuity being BMW Sauber’s watchword for 2009, third driver Christian Klien will stay on too.

"We see Nick and Robert as a strong driver pairing and Christian as an experienced test driver,” explained BMW Motorsport director Mario Theissen. “We are in no doubt that we will again achieve our ambitious aims with them in the team's fourth year."

So far this season, Kubica and Heidfeld have scored 120 world championship points for the team. The Pole clinched the outfit’s maiden Formula One victory at June’s Canadian Grand Prix, while Heidfeld has scored four second-place finishes to date in 2008.

The German joined the team from Williams in 2006 for BMW’s first season as a works squad. Kubica made his Formula One test debut that year too and was subsequently promoted to a race seat, alongside Heidfeld, for the final six rounds of the ’06 season, after replacing Jacques Villeneuve.
Now Alonso have only one choice and that Reanult and i bet he will remain in the same team.I see another awful season(2009) for Alonso, poor Alonso
